If you are strapped for time, the following video shows you a simple, yet a total workout for women. All it takes is 15 minutes a few times per week. And, you can do in the comfort of your home. This article is a part of the series of articles on exercising for weight loss . This series of articles will not only help you lose weight but will help you shape your body as well.
Total Workout For Women – Exercise Description
In this workout for women routine there are 4 types of exercises. You do not need any equipment except a set of dumbbells for two of them.
► Ballet calf raises – not only shape your calves but also work on your glutes
► Rotation row – this simple exercise performed with dumbbells is perfect for strengthening your arms, shoulders and back
► Hamstring “T” curl – also known as leg curls typically done in the gym not only target your hamstring muscles but also your back and calf muscles.
► Windmill – these exercises target your core muscles. They also work other muscles of your body, both upper and lower
To get the best benefit from the workout follow these instructions
- Do this circuit 3 days a week
- Do all the repetitions of each exercise with little or no rest between exercises
- Rest up to 30 seconds after the last move
- Repeat the circuit two or three more times

Make sure that before you start exercising you warm up and after the workout you take take some time to cool down.
This total body workout is obviously designed for women (although men can do it too). It is an introduction of what you can do (with respect to exercising to lose weight) at home.
