So you have cellulite and you don’t like it because you feel it makes your skin look unattractive. You are not alone feeling this way as majority of women develop cellulite at some point during their adult life.
Online and even offline you may find a barrage of ads for potions, lotions, wraps and even invasive and dangerous procedures all promising you to eliminate cellulite from your legs, thighs and butt forever.
All these ads and promises are nonsense or at most a band aid solutions to your cellulite problem. There is no way these treatments will or can permanently get rid of your cellulite. They may temporarily change the look of your skin but you will pay through the nose if you want to keep the look.
But don’t let me discourage you because there is a way to reduce the appearance of cellulite or even completely eliminate cellulite from your body. And to boot, it may not even cost you anything.
I am talking about specific exercises (that you can actually perform in the privacy of your home) that will help you get rid of cellulite. Let me explain.
How Exercise Helps Eliminate Cellulite
As women age, they begin to lose muscle and accumulate fat in the connective tissues in certain regions of their bodies, for example thighs, butt and legs. It is the combination of excessive fat in the connective tissue and the depletion of muscle mass that leads to the appearance of cellulite.
Joey Atlas, a leading exercise physiologist, developed a set of cellulite exercises that help women burn fat and build muscles in the cellulite prone areas like thighs, buttocks and legs. These exercises are laser focused on these “problem” areas and are quite simple.
As the phrase “build muscle, burn fat” suggests these exercise will help you build muscles in cellulite prone areas and the more muscles you will have, the more fat will be burnt. As a result, the connective tissue underneath the skin “corrects itself”, and your cellulite will begin to disappear.
